Lothar Lanz, Chairman

With a degree in Business Administration, Lothar comes from a financial background, beginning his career as an auditor and tax advisor in Berlin and working as a branch manager for Bayerische Hypotheken‑ und Wechselbank Aktiengesellschaft from 1983 – 1990. Since then, Lothar has gained a wealth of experience, acting on numerous management boards, most recently serving as Chief Financial and Operating Officer on the Management Board of Axel Springer Aktiengesellschaft. In addition to his roles in various other supervisory boards, Lothar is Chairman of our Supervisory Board.

Franco Danesi

After obtaining a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano as well as in Business Administration from London Business School, Franco started his career at Ernst & Young in London. He then joined Morgan Stanley Investment to focus on investment banking and investment management. Positions at Goldman Sachs International and QINVEST followed after that. Since 2014, he has been investment director at Kinnevik AB, where he is responsible for overseeing portfolio companies, in particular internet‑related businesses.

Verena Mohaupt

Verena Mohaupt was born in Essen in 1968. She holds a degree in business administration from the Westfälische Wilhelms‑Universität Münster (Diplom Kauffrau) and a master in business administration (MBA) from INSEAD in Fontainbleau, France. Ms Mohaupt has broad experience in finance and private equity. She began her career in the investment banking at Goldman Sachs International, London. In the following, she held positions at McKinsey & Co and at Allianz Capital Partners. In addition, she was one of the founders of, a European online shopping portal. Ms. Mohaupt is currently a partner of Findos Investor GmbH, a medium-sized private equity fund with legal seat in Munich.

Magnus Agervald

Magnus holds a master in engineering physics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and an master in economics and business master from the Stockholm School of Economics. In 1999, he began his professional career as one of the founders of Icomera AB, a mobile Internet and data communications business. In 2002, Magnus joined private equity fund IDI AB and changed to McKinsey & Company in 2002. In 2006, he joined Byggmax AB, a Swedish retailer, where he most recently served as chief operating officer. From 2016 to 2017, Magnus held the same office at Ratos AB. In addition, Magnus has been and is still active as an entrepreneur in various businesses.
